My creative work is rooted in the intersection where nonobjective abstraction intersects with contemplative inquiry, resulting in creative work that is expressed through a minimalist visual language. I explore the field of perception and the thresholds where space appears to give way to form. The artwork represents poetic interpretations of space, light, stillness in movement and thresholds, unfolding through observation and reduction.
The vertical and horizontal lines are a visual device that symbolize a hidden dimension beneath all experience. Paint is applied sparingly; colour moves in quiet, undulating fields, with the intention to express a flux of light and form without being fixed in place.
